Don't forget, tonight is Friday Night Sew-in! I have big plans, but I will not be able to show all of the finished items--I am thinking positively--because some of it is for The Ghastlies Blog Hop which will begin on October 24, 2011! Cannot wait for that!!!
So, until tomorrow's posting of what I can show, here is a little sneak peek at some of the fabric I will be using in projects I can't show--got all that!!! This sneak peek will make you want to come back between Oct. 24 and Nov 24 for The Ghastlies Blog Hop!!!
Until tomorrow--have a wonderful productive Friday Night Sew-In!!

What a wonderful package! Thank you Purple Pam!
What a wonderful package that was waiting for me when I arrived home from school today! First, I read the return address and knew it was from Purple Pam who had a giveaway about a week ago for her followers. I couldn't wait to bring it inside and open it up!
When I did open it, it was even more beautiful than I had seen on her blog! She had even completed six of the blocks--what a bonus to have such a head start--and let me tell you what gorgeous work Purple Pam does; her piecing is exquisite! Take a look:
Now take a look at what else was there--the finishing kit and the remainder of the blocks neatly packaged to piece by me (and my trusty helper) Here he is taking a "sneak" peek:
Now we are checking out these blocks from a different view:
Actually he is telling me that I don't quite have them lined up right--but his paw will straighten them out for me, see what a helper:
It is a wonder I get anything completed without his help--or his best friend's help for that matter:
Well, enough of my helpers! Thank you again Purple Pam for such a wonderful, wonderful package! I will be putting something in the mail to you on Thursday just to say thank you again!
For now, stay happy and quilt/sew something! Or perhaps I should sign off:

The Ghastlies Blog Hop and The Big EZ quilts
YES, I have signed up for The Ghastlies Blog Hop and can't wait. I actually have a couple of things that I will be working on and showing for the hop! I will keep you guessing though! I do think I will see you on Saturday, if you are the Sandy I have in mind!
I will post about the craziness of last week this weekend! I will answer all comments too--I love your comments, and answer them all...just a little behind this past week! Still sewing my binding on the BIG EZ flower quilt and finishing up the Halloween Big EZ.
Of to work tomorrow and then to continue on with the Shop Hop in Connecticut this weekend! Always on the lookout for The Ghastlies fabric!
Quilt, sew, enjoy!

What I have been working on and Back to School -- Finally!
Well, Hurricane Irene has come and gone but many in our state are still feeling her effects! The teachers just went back to school today and the students will come in on Tuesday, Sept. 2., that is a week later than scheduled. That means less time quilting, sewing and blogging--but a little quilting a day is better than none at all!
I have been doing some type of quilting everyday--and that makes me feel good! I am sewing the binding on my flower quilt (earlier post) and working on my new Halloween quilt:
As well as enjoying the blooms in my garden:
and the fading butterfly bush; although it is still very active with various butterflies and bees:
So, I am still enjoying the very warm afternoons and all that is still blossoming as we move into September and fall. My cat and corgi helpers staying close at hand both in the quilt room and outside for the corgi!
Until our next visit, keep quilting!
