Halloween Tablerunner, Butterfly Wallhanging and A Shop Hop!

What do the above have in common?  Not much really, but they are all fun!  The just about finished except for about 10 inches on the binding Halloween tablerunner was really fun to make with the "quilt as you go" method!  This pattern is called Braid Runner by G.E. Designs--love her patterns and designs!  My DD and DS son love decorating for the holidays as much as I do and always have--now I will have some quilts to add to the decor.  I made 14 of the Madison Square runners as Christmas gifts last year--that will be another blog entry!
The next photo is of the Butterflies and Orchids quilt top that I made from a pattern by Southwind Designs.  I am not sure if I will add another border or just quilt it and bind it.  If you have any suggestions, please feel free to comment!  I do love how it came out and need to finish it.

The last item is the CT Quilt Shop Hop which will begin on Saturday, September 12-20!  There will be 18 shops participating and I can't wait!  Four of us girls will be setting off bright and early Saturday morning to make a day of hopping to as many shops as we can!  I will take my camera along and see what photos I might come up with along the way.  Only three more days--I am counting down!  I am sure I will have something else to say tomorrow!
Well, thanks for stopping by for now...

  1. I like the ghosts in the center of your Halloween table runner. Cute!! The orchid quilt might look nice with a pretty blue border or simply binding it in a blue that you used in the quilt. Very pretty!
