More show pictures and a great book and fabric from Paulette

Thank you, thank you Paulette from Sweet P Quilting and Creations for the wonderful fabric and new quilting magazine from Canada, she had a giveaway and I was lucky enough to win!  Just look at the beautiful cascade of fabric, it truly does remind me of a waterfall--those warm and soft flannels and just look at that Partridge in a Pear Tree on the front cover of the magazine; it they aren't just the perfect fit!  The magazine is wonderful and I know my next project!

I have to show a few more pictures from our quilt show!  I have heard from bloggers that they love the tea cup quilt--so do I, and I happened to take a couple of close-up pictures; notice how Denise (the quilter who made the quilt from our guild) embroidered special family names in the steam and them went on to include their birthdates on the tea bag label!  It is just too cute!

Take a look at these two Santa quilts--same pattern but different tree background fabric and they look so different because of that:

Well, more tomorrow!  Until then, may your needle be forever sharp and happy quilting,

  4. You'll enjoy the magazine a lot Barb! Nice goodies too that came along :^) Enjoyed looking at the pics of the quilt show, I think my favourite one is the Mariners Compass. The quilting detail on the tea cups is amazing.
